After a day on the Narrows or Angels Landing, the Zion Canyon Brew Pub is exactly where you want to end up. Utah has strict liquor laws — this is worth knowing upfront — but the Brew Pub navigates them well, pouring house-brewed craft beers in a setting that earns its place among the best views of any bar in the state.
The taproom itself is relaxed and well-worn, the way good pubs are supposed to be. Exposed brick, timber beams, a long bar and windows that look straight out at the canyon walls. In summer, the patio is the place to be. The canyon catches the last light around 7pm and turns the colour of copper. Watch it happen over a cold pint.
The food is pub-standard done properly — burgers, pizzas, wings, nachos. It’s not fine dining, and it doesn’t try to be. After a full trail day, that’s exactly right.
Note that Utah alcohol laws mean drinks are served in specific measures and you’ll need to order food alongside in some situations. The staff know the rules and handle it without any fuss. For groups, this is the most reliable evening option in Springdale — casual, well-run and reliably good.
